A Short History of
Santa's by the Sea Bed & Breakfast
Cyndie and Gary Quinn are longtime residents of Hawaii and spent their 'working years' as flight attendants
for Pan Am and United Airlines...58 combined years of service!
We met in 1979, and became friends. We fell in love 2 years later and were married in 1982, After a year in Kaneohe, we moved to the North Shore in 1984 and opened our B&B "Kai Moena" the same year.
In the 1980's and early 1990's, we hosted a large community craft fair on the property.
Thousands of people came each year.
It was called "Santa's by the Sea."
After the fair had run its course, we decided to keep the name for our B&B.
We have been operating as Santa's by the Sea Bed & Breakfast ever since.
Cyndie is now a Marriage and Family Therapist.
Gary is a professional videographer. 
Our interests include walking, cooking, friends & family, beach walks, bon-fires, and goodwill missions.
Since 2007, we have been on missions to Malawi and Rwanda (Africa),
as well as Boracay Island in the Philippines.
Being involved in helping the world be a better place and sharing God's love and peace
are a passion of ours in our 'later' years.
It is a privilege to pay it forward and pay it back.

Trips to Rwanda in 2009 & 2010 as well as missions to the Philippines in 2008, 2009, and 2010 have kept us busy and committed to making a small difference.
Still, it is always wonderful to return to beautiful Hawaii and island living, our home, and good friends.
Cyndie is a gourmet cook and master crafts person.
Gary comes to life with woodworking & on the computer.
We are honored to share the atmosphere and beauty of the North Shore and Santa's by the Sea B&B. It is our intent, as well as our goal, to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable!
Santa's recycles. It's the right thing to do. As a bonus, monies from your bottles and cans help support children in Rwanda, Malawi, Tajikistan, and the Philippines.
